How templates work
Templates save all line items, rates and settings from an existing estimate. Apply a template to a new estimate to pre-populate it instantly — great for standard project types like "4-Bed Retrofit" or "Office Fit-Out".
To save a template: open any estimate → click Save template in the top bar.

What each role can do
Admin — everything: users, catalogue, reports, all estimates and status changes. Senior — full estimating with prices, catalogue, templates, approvals and audit log. Junior — build estimates (quantities only, no cost visibility), create clients/projects, submit for review, export the customer PDF. Reviewer — review and comment on estimate lines; sees prices but cannot edit. Read-only — view estimates without prices; no editing or exports.
